Our authentic self is our "true" identity. It's based on our core values, beliefs, and purpose. It guides our thinking, behavior, and decision-making.
When we conform to others, instead of following our core values, we essentially hide who we are. Perceived negative experiences can add to this confirmation bias.
This can lead to significant inner conflicts. It can increase anxiety, fear, mental fatigue, low self-esteem, unfulfillment, lack of purpose, and more.
When our core identity feels silenced, it's easy for limiting beliefs to settle in. Fears and doubts can become so intense that they prevent us from seeking overall wellness. It is hard to feel a clear sense of purpose and meaning in our lives.
Understanding core identity is essential for personal growth and unlocking our full potential in life.
